Monument Title Group is a commercial title insurance and escrow agency based in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, serving Maryland and Virginia. We handle title examination, commitments and policies, escrow and disbursement, and closing and recording for developers, homebuilders, energy developers, investors and lenders.
We take on work that larger agencies route to a queue: land-bank and lot-takedown structures, solar and energy sites, multi-phase subdivisions, and closings with layered financing or multiple parcels. Our manager reviews title on every file.
Monument Title Group is affiliated with KatzDay, a real estate and business law firm in the same office. The two firms operate separately; clients of either are free to use any title or settlement provider they choose.
Title insurance is underwritten by First American Title Insurance Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company.
